James T. Horn - Chairman

Jim started his career as a marine electrician where he learned drafting and design. After joining Tri-M as an electrical designer, he quickly rose through the ranks by demonstrating a management and leadership style that enabled employees to flourish and exceeded the expectations of customers. In 2002, Jim became joint owner of Tri-M with founder, Tom Musser. In 2016, Jim invited Ron Bauguess and Chris Peirson to join him in partnership of Tri-M.  In 2025, Jim transitioned to Board Chairman.

 

Jim has held many leadership roles with several organizations, most notably: Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC); Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce; Brandywine Valley YMCA and Rotary at Longwood.

 

In 2021, he was named a Vista Megastars Leader. Most recently, he was the recipient of Ernst & Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 Greater Philadelphia.
